- [Persian New Year Party (Norouz)](https://aipad.dk/events/persian-new-year-party-norouz-2/): Norouz is the new year in Iran and 13 other countries in the world. Norouz starts with the beginning of the Spring (usually the 21st of March) and it is the biggest Persian tradition. Before the arrival of Norouz, Iranians gather around a decorated table called Haftsin. The Haftsin includes 7 symbolic items all begin with the alphabet "S" in Farsi such as Sumak (symbol of sunrise), apple (symbol of beauty), garlic (symbol of health), Persian olive (symbol of love), sweet pudding (symbol of strength), vinegar (symbol of patience), and lentil (symbol of rebirth).It was our pleasure to celebrate the Norouz as a big ceremony with more than 110 Iranian and non-Iranian guests. The AIPaD's Norouz was started at 17.00 on the 19th of March, 2022. The ceremony was started with playing a fun game using balloons while dancing. Afterward, DJ Yas started playing fun kinds of music to warm up. Although snacks and drinks were available during the ceremony, different types of salads were served at 19.00. Around 22.00, an Iranian buffet was served for the dinner. The ceremony was finished with a karaoke competition around midnight.
- [Chaharshanbe Suri Festival](https://aipad.dk/events/chaharshanbe-suri-festival-2/): The Chaharshanbe Suri festival, also known as the fire festival, is an ancient Iranian tradition. Chaharshanbe Suri is held on the eve of the last Wednesday ahead of the Persian new year. The exact time differs from year to year. For this year, AIPaD arranged and held the Chaharshanbe Suri on the 15th of March in Skovlegeplads, Skodsborg. We were around 50 participants that gathered together and started the festival at 17.30. The festival is commonly based on lighting bonfires and jumping over them. We celebrated the festival by eating Ash Reshte, drinking, dancing, and also jumping over bonfires until 9 p.m.

After the game, few participant joined for dinner in a nearby restuarant.

On August 1st 2020, more than 25 AIPaD members participated in this trip which started from 9.00 to 18.00.

- [Bowling](https://aipad.dk/events/bowling/): Bowling Event On November 6th, most of the association members (about 70) attended a bowling event in the cecilies complex. We played together in 8 lines, drank beverages, and ate snacks. After that, we had a group dinner all together in Herlev center.

At first, we played three different games: laser tag, Sumo Relay, and footballpool. After Dinner, we continued to play Monopoly and chit-chat.
- [Picnic](https://aipad.dk/events/picnic/): Picnic On Feb. 13, 2022, 30 members of AIPad gathered together in one of the shelters in Skodsborgparken. The event included introducing new members. Grilling and playing several team games in nature were also parts of this event.
- [Bouldering](https://aipad.dk/events/bouldering/): Bouldering AIPaD arranged an interesting event on February 21st to initiate our bouldering journey. We were eight ambitious attendees of AIPaD eager to learn bouldering together. We started warming up together at 16:20 and didn’t sense how fast the time flied and it was already 18:30 when we cooled down. After warming up and getting lessons on how to be move on the wall, we started our individual paths to follow the determined routes. For us, one of the best things about bouldering was that we almost didn’t need any equipment for enjoying it; even the shoes were rented from the gym. We all enjoyed our time and were full of energy to start our week.
- [13 bedar 2022](https://aipad.dk/events/13-bedar-2022/): Following an ancient culture, Iranians celebrate the rebirth of nature 13 days after starting of spring (Iranian new year). To do the same we gathered with a large number of members together on April 2nd for camping, grilling, playing, and hanging out. It took place in Skodosborg park from 10:00 a.m to 14:00 p.m. everyone had a really good time talking and laughing with friends in nature combined with volleyball, grilling kebabs, and some dancing.
- [Nature walk around Furesø lake](https://aipad.dk/events/nature-walk-around-fureso-lake/): We spent the morning of May 15th together with 12 members of AIPAD. We took a walk in nature around the Furesø lake enjoying the spring sunny weather. As we started waking at 10:38 a.m. we passed by the lake on our right side and the woods on our left. Lots of talks and laughs and enjoying each other's company until we stopped at a very beautiful yellow flower plain to take some photos. Shortly after that, we stopped for snacks and small lunch packs. After resting and sharing a lot of nice snacks, I started going back at around 12:10 p.m. and ended up in the starting point at 13:25. The walk was so refreshing and everybody went back home with a fresh mind and a big smile for the rest of the day and ready for a new week to start.
- [Sand Sculpture](https://aipad.dk/events/sand-sculpture/): Creating sculpture out of sand has been noticed more and more as a kind of art in the recent centuries. In Hundsted, there is a yearly well-known festival, called Sand Festival, with arts exhibitions from international artists. In AIPaD, we were more than 35 persons that visited the festival, had the lunch together, and visited the outstanding nature of Hundsted. 
- [Sankt Hans](https://aipad.dk/events/sankt-hans/): Sankt Hans is one of the most important events in Denmark after the Christmas and Påske. It is a gathering of people, usually families, for celebrating the begining of the Summer. In AIPaD, we celebrated the Sankt Hans in Bakken this year. The event was started with music and funny jokes from the most famous clown from Tivoli and ended around 10 p.m. with burning a dull laid in a boat full of wooden sticks. The dull that is a symbol for a witch is a gift from the history. It was a nice evening around the most beautiful and calm lake in Copenhagen.

AIPaD book club is a platform for introducing thoughts, studying books, fostering discussion, challenging our mental patterns, and exchanging ideas on valuable and novel topics that members propose. We aim to promote critical thinking, expand knowledge, and explore various perspectives through engaging discussions. We gather on the third Friday of each month to discuss a selected valuable book. In this regard, we suggest various topics and books, and in a public vote, we choose the most popular one for each meeting. Occasionally, we also invite scholars and authors to share their insights and experience on related topics, leading to knowledge development and mental and intellectual growth within our community. The meeting has three panels. Each panel is followed in the form of a roundtable discussion. First, the attendees review the selected book and give a brief overview of the whole story. In the second panel, opinions and critics were reviewed. The last panel allows attendants to have an open discussion.
