Event details

  • Join us for an exciting and unique Food Cooking Competition brought to you by AIPaD!
  • We’re planning a fun-filled day from morning until afternoon where volunteer Michelin Star Chefs will cook delicious food, we’ll all enjoy the meal together, and we’ll crown the winners! 
  • While the chefs are busy cooking, other Food Lover participants can gather in the main hall for games and entertainment.
  • Drinks and snacks will be served throughout the entire event.
  • Event Schedule:
    • Venue Doors Open: 10:00 AM
    • Cooking Begins: 10:30 AM (sharp)
    • Cooking Ends: 1:30 PM (sharp)
    • Food Serving Begins: 2:00 PM
    • End of Serving & Start of Voting: 3:00 PM
    • Results Announcement & Prize Ceremony: 3:30 PM
    • Event Ends & Cleanup: 4:30 PM

We kindly ask all participants to arrive on time to ensure the smooth flow of the competition and activities.

Event rules

  • Participation: Six individuals can register as Michelin Star Chefs, and 54 individuals can register as Food Lover participants.
  • Chef’s Assistant: Each chef can choose one assistant from the 54 participants.
  • Dish Selection: The type of dish to be prepared is optional and up to each chef/team.
  • Food Quantity: Each chef/team should prepare enough of their dish so that every Food Lover at the event can have a small portion for tasting. Please aim for a quantity that allows all attendees to sample your creation, rather than preparing full meals for everyone.
  • Ingredient Costs: Chefs are responsible for purchasing the ingredients of their food and AIPaD will reimburse up to 600 kr.
  • Cooking Equipment: Basic cooking equipment will be available at the venue. However, chefs are welcome to bring their own equipment if they prefer.
  • Cooking Time: The maximum time allowed for cooking is 3 hoursTo ensure fairness for all participating chefs, NO EXTENSIONS will be granted.
  • Fair Food Rating: Food Lover participants will be obligated to fairly evaluate and rank the six dishes prepared by the chefs. This will involve determining their order of preference, from the best dish (ranked 1st) down to the least preferred dish (ranked 6th). Each dish must receive a unique ranking.

Event prizes

The winners will be determined based on the ratings provided by Food Lover participants.

  • 1st Place: 600 kr. gift card
  • 2nd Place: 500 kr. gift card
  • 3rd Place: 400 kr. gift card
  • 4th Place: 300 kr. gift card
  • 5th Place: 200 kr. gift card
  • 6th Place: 100 kr. gift card

Important Note: Prizes will be awarded to the team, whether it consists of an individual chef or a chef working with their chosen assistant. Only one gift card will be presented per winning team.

Registration Schedule:

  • Registration Opens to AIPaD Members: April 9th
  • Registration Opens to the Public: April 20th
  • Registration Closes (if not full): May 7th

Capacity:

  • Michelin Star Chefs: Limited to 6 participants.
  • Food Lovers: Limited to 54 participants.

Ticket Prices:

  • AIPaD Members: 150 kr.
  • General Public: 250 kr.
  • Children:
    • Under 2 years old: Free
    • Ages 2-7 (Members’ Children): 75 kr.
    • Ages 2-7 (Non-Members’ Children): 125 kr.
    • Over 7 years old: Same as adult price (150 kr. for members, 250 kr. for non-members)

Ticket Purchase Rules:

  • AIPaD Members: Each AIPaD member can purchase one ticket for themselves at the member price.
  • Non-Member Public (Adult Tickets): When public registration is open, each person is eligible to purchase up to a maximum of five adult tickets.
  • Children’s Tickets: Purchase of children’s tickets is limited to two tickets per category (Infant, Small Child, Standard Child). Children must be accompanied by their parent(s) during the event.

Refund policy

Please note that registration is binding, and no refunds will be issued unless the entire event is canceled.
